Since we're not affiliated to Jensen, we can't send you a hard copy picture of him by mail. To get one, please refer to the Autograph section of the Jensen page.

Does Jensen have a girlfriend, wife, children?

Jensen is currently single without children. To keep updated on his dating status, please check the message board where you'll find a dedicated topic to Jensen's girlfriend.

NO! We're not affiliated with Jensen Ackles and we're not in direct contact with him either. This is a fansite operated by dedicated fans.

What's Jensen's email address?

Wouldn't we all want to have Jensen's email address? No, we don't know what it is.

Where can I find Jensen Ackles official site?

For the moment, Jensen and his agent decided to take down the site. He will open it again, eventually, but it will remain closed for the time being.

Does Jensen have a Myspace, Bebo, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Networking site's page?

The answer to that came in one of the issues of the Official Jensen Ackles Newsletter. Thanks to Beth for clarifying this question for the fans:

"This isn't really an announcement, per se. We would just like to say a few words regarding the latest trend: MySpace.com.

Everybody's doing it, including "Jensen." Jensen is a celebrity and gaining much popularity than ever before.

Please note that Jensen does NOT have a MySpace. Nor is there a MySpace for this Newsletter, or any of his family members. Special thanks to a certain few of you who brought suspicious behavior to our attention. Thank you!!"

Also, Jensen keeps repeating in fan conventions and elsewhere that he doesn't have any of those pages.

May I copy some of the content of this site on another site or forum?

Fanarts and fan fictions: you should ask the artists directly by email. Either to their address when it is posted or use the contact form of this site, and it will be our pleasure to pass on your request to the artist.

Pictures: unless otherwise specified, you can use the pictures elsewhere, but we ask that you credit our site and link back to it and that you keep our tags on the pictures. And please use a reasonable amount of pictures, there's no point in making a duplicate of our gallery elsewhere. You can also take any of them to make fanarts and for your personal enjoyment.

Videos: can only be used to make your own fan videos. Please credit our site when you do.

May I directly link material of this site on other sites and forums?

Please don't. Every time a picture is displayed anywhere, it uses bandwidth we have to pay for. So please, please, please, avoid hot linking elsewhere. You can use free services such as photobucket.com, imageshack.com or others.

However, links to any page of this site is always appreciated.

I made fan arts. How can I publish them on your site?

Use the contact us form to email the staff with your request. We will then ask you to submit a sample of your work for approval.

Please note:

1. remember this is a Jensen Ackles fan site, so Jensen or one of the characters he played, must be the main element of your work.
2. We only publish new artists when they have at least 3 desktop wallpapers to share.

I wrote one or more fan fictions. Can I be published on your site?

The best place to get published is on a fanfics discussion board. We recommend Nuns With Pens. Once you get permission to post your fics, you'll get more feedback than you could ever get by publishing on a site. You can also publish your fanfics on our forum.

Will you publish new episode recap clips?

Unfortunately, it is no longer possible for us to do that anymore. We're not going to go into details neither here nor through email. Just know that it was a tough decision to make but it was necessary to keep the site on line. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but we hope you keep enjoying everything else we do either with the site or the discussion forums.

Why does it say that I have reached my download limit and is it permanent? What is the dowload limit?

It just means that you have reached the number of downloads you are allowed to do within a day. Keep in mind that the site has a lot of visitors and downloading uses a lot of server resources so we have to set a limit. Just wait 24 hours and then, you'll be able to download the same number of files again. Note that unregistered members are allowed 10 downloads per day, while registered members are allowed 20 downloads per day.

How can I help the site?

This is what you can do now.

1. If you own a site, you can post a link to this site on yours. If you wish to use a banner, you can chose one at the bottom of the links page, in the link us category.
2. We can always use good translators. Note that we do not wish to add another language to the site as it is a huge undertaking, but if you wish to help with any of the 4 languages we currently offer (English, French, German and Japanese), then if you have talent for it and enjoy translating things, use the contact us button on the top menu of the site.
3. We have high hosting fees to pay, so if you can afford it, please donate using the "Make a donation" button located on the left hand side panel of the site. Or buy from amazon.com using one of the links provided on the left hand side panel of our home page. Thanks for your help!

Video problem: I can hear the sound but I can't see the images?

You need to download the appropriate codec. This site uses either DIVX codec, or xVid codec for video compression, and sometimes AC3 filter for audio compression. We recommend you download all 3 codecs and install them. You can find these codecs at many sites, such as http://www.download.com.

I can not download your videos. Help!

Usually, clicking a video link will display a small window offering you to either open the file or save it. Chose to save it, and notice where on your hard drive the video has been saved, to get to it later. If you don't get this window, then you can right click the link and chose save as.

Video problem: my media player can't read the zip file?

Most of our videos are in WMV format, some are in AVI or Real Media format as well. But, for all of them, we compress them into a ZIP file. The ZIP file has to be decompressed so your media player can read the WMV file.

Here's how to decompress the zip file:
After saving the file on your local drive, get to it, decompress it and then you can watch the video. To decompress, you can use the decompression function built in Windows XP if you use this Operating System. If not, you will need a zip decompression utility such as Winzip. You can get one of them in a good number of places on the net, such as: http://www.download.com.

Is there a discussion board associated with the site?

Yes there is. Come join us and discuss everything Jensen Ackles. Click on the permanent link on the main menu.

Why should I register to the forum?

You will be able to see most of the contents of the forum without registering, except for the Exclusive section. Registering to the board will grant you access to the Exclusive section and allow you to reply to topics and start new discussion subjects on the board.

Will I receive SPAM emails if I register to the board?

You won't receive SPAM from us and we won't give your email address to anyone.

If you chose to hide your email address, something you can do in your profile, you will be protected from receiving SPAM from other parties who we have no control over. We suggest you use a specific email account for registering to the board, such as a hotmail or gmail account.

I can't log on to the FORUM or to the SITE, what should I do?

First and foremost, registration to the site and to the forum are separate. Registering to the site won't give you access to the forum and vice versa.

To register to the site, use the Register link under the Login form located on the left hand side panel of the main page.

To register to the forum, use the Register link located at the top of the forum's page.

In both cases, shortly after registering, you should receive an activation email. This is why you must specify a working email account. This email contains a link you should click to make your new account active, and therefore be able to login to the discussion board or to the site. If you haven't received the activation email, instead of registering multiple times, please use the contact form from the Top menu to contact us. We will be happy to activate your account for you. If you have registered more than once, we would appreciate knowing about it so we can remove the accounts you won't use.
